Dog Training

Free phone consultation

During this short phone conversation, we can discuss the reasons you feel you’d like help with training your dog/s. We can then implement a plan, deciding on how many sessions might be likely, as well as determining which environment would be best to train in for those particular elements.

Initial Session // £45

Use this opportunity to work on any behavioural aspects you feel need work, in order to improve your relationship with your furry companion. Our goal is for you to walk home feeling a new sense of confidence in your capabilities, having gained new skills and insights to become the gentle leader your dog needs. Following your session, you will receive tailormade notes to help you stay on track with the areas you need to focus your training on.

Follow-up sessions // £35

There’s only so much that can be addressed in one session. Perhaps you’re looking to have an all-round well behaved dog and would like to tackle all aspects of general obedience, or perhaps you’d like to spend more time on one specific concern such as improving recall or reducing reactivity. Get in touch now to create a plan suited to you and your dog/s.

Follow-up phone consultation // 30min /£15

Despite our best intentions, hiccups can occur along the road, and it needn’t be essential to have a face-to-face session to come up with solutions. For existing clients needing a bit of additional support or wanting clarity regarding a specific issue in their training or dog’s behaviour, get in touch to organise a session over the phone.

Walk and Train Programme

In this one to one programme with just your dog and myself, the session will consist of a 3-hour period spent in different environments walking and working on all aspects of basic obedience, safe introduction to training tools if necessary, and anything else you may feel needs worked e.g. being calm around dogs or people, settling down in environments such as pubs or public transport.

For new clients, our first session will begin with an initial face to face assessment (30-60min) to discuss your objectives and goals, giving me an opportunity to assess your dog and giving us (the dog and I) a chance to meet in preparation for our future walking session/s.

Each 3hr session is offered as a package, including the cost of a follow-up training session with you, the handler. This is to ensure that you commit to developing your handling skills, the same way your dog is committing to improving their behaviour whilst working with me. This only works in the long run if you match your dog’s willingness to train!

This programme can be helpful for dog owners who have:

  • Too much going on in life and feel it's having an impact on their dog's training and wellbeing, wishing they could do more to help them..

  • Come to accept that they have a reactive or high maintenance dog that needs more than just a regular walking routine or service..

  • Gotten a new puppy, a rescue, or an increasingly difficult dog, and lack the experience and time required for handling such a dog, feeling they need a bit of help to get them to where they're happy to continue on their own.
